About SOJO…

Be prepared for total sonic immersion with this 16 piece big band loaded with some great horn playing, great charts and great improvisation. SOJO’s repertoire is a mix of swing, Latin and classic big band arrangements. Formed by trumpeter Corren Hileman in the Spring of 2008, the band has played in a variety of venues, including the Bear Creek Summer Concert Series, Rogue Valley Manor, Medford Eagles, Avalon Bar & Grill, Medford Armory, Seven Feathers Casino, Evergreen Ballroom, Camelot Theater and many more.

SOJO has played regularly at the Southern Oregon Music Festival in October, and at many local winerys, events and festivals. Check us out each month at the Medford Eagles and the Grape Street Bar & Grill.  Our venues change often, so make sure to check our calendar frequently!

SOJO is available to play for special events or for a concert. For information on up-coming performances or to ask about the band playing for your event please contact Corren Hileman.

  1. Hi Corren! Great to meet and visit with you last week at the Shrew’s House B&B! We loved our stay. I wish we could have stayed long enough to hear SOJO play a gig – we are huge big-band fans. Unfortunately I don’t think the sound files transferred to the CD – only the CD title. If it’s not too much trouble, could you burn another CD and mail it to me? (check the disc after you burn it to be sure the sound files transferred). My address is: Scott Hewitt 1846 Pheasant Hills Drive Loveland OH 45140-7177. We’re dying to hear your band! Thanks! Scott
